What a great day of comradery improving our post home! It was great to see the flurry of work throughout the building to make our post home better than ever! One set of our members were installing both office doors while another was installing two security cameras. Even more, a member was in the restroom repairing the lady’s latrine. A shout out to our Bldg Manager, Chris Garrett, for organizing this effort. A big thanks to Arnold Taplin who used his expertise to install both the office doors, as assisted by Rick Sheldon, ensuring the doors were installed plum, level and true. Roger Ash and Chris Garrett braved the ceiling heights and interesting installation of two more security cameras. Not that there is not more to do, but it was a good morning to be a member of VFW Post 8545!
